The Major Environment Standard

A Soccer Parent Standard family does not get hypnotized by big labels.

High school.Academy.Boarding.Overseas.Professional pathway.Trial.Exposure. Residential.Elite.

These words do not make the opportunity good.

The opportunity is good only if it fits the player, protects the child, supports development, respects academics, manages workload, verifies eligibility, and has a real exit plan.

Parents must ask harder questions as the decision gets bigger.

For local rec soccer, the question may be simple:

“Is this fun, safe, and affordable?”

For academy soccer, the questions become sharper.

For boarding, the entire child’s life is involved.

For overseas, legal, registration, agent, visa, school, safety, and medical issues enter the picture.

Do not treat these like normal sign-ups.

The bigger the decision, the heavier the due diligence.

That is the standard.
