Accessibility Statement

White Sports Ventures is committed to making the CPSC credentialing experience usable by people of all abilities and to providing reasonable accommodations where needed.

Version 2026-04-20 · Effective April 20, 2026

1. Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, and cognitive differences.

2. What We Do

  • Use semantic HTML, descriptive link text, and logical heading order so the experience is usable with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
  • Target a color-contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interactive elements.
  • Write alt text for meaningful imagery and provide captions or transcripts for video content used in the curriculum.
  • Design forms with visible labels, in-field guidance, and error messaging that does not rely on color alone.
  • Preserve focus indicators and support Reduce Motion preferences for animations.

3. Known Limitations

We continue to test and improve. Where legacy third-party content (for example, certain embedded video or PDF materials) does not meet WCAG 2.2 AA, we will provide an accessible alternative on request. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — most issues can be fixed quickly once we know.

4. Requesting Accommodations

If you need an accommodation to participate in the program — extended time on quizzes, alternative assignment formats, live captioning for synchronous sessions, or anything else — email certification@whitesportsventures.com with the subject line “Accommodation Request.” You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. We will work with you in good faith to identify a reasonable accommodation.

5. Reporting an Accessibility Issue

To report a barrier on the Service, email us with:

  • the URL of the page where you encountered the issue;
  • a short description of the issue and the assistive technology (if any) you were using; and
  • a suggested outcome if you have one in mind (for example, “a transcript of this video,” “a text alternative for this PDF”).

We will acknowledge your report within two (2) business days and aim to provide a resolution or interim workaround within ten (10) business days.

6. Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to certification@whitesportsventures.com with “Accessibility Appeal” in the subject. You also retain the right to contact the relevant disability-rights authority in your jurisdiction.
