1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, submitting an application, enrolling in a program, or using any part of the platform at this domain (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Who May Use the Service
You must be at least 18 years of age to hold an account, submit a credentialing application, or purchase a program. The Service is designed for coaches, trainers, and operators who serve youth and adult athletes; by using the Service you affirm that any work you perform with minors complies with the laws of the jurisdiction in which that work occurs.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at certification@whitesportsventures.com of any unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised, share credentials with third parties, or are used in violation of these Terms.
4. The Credentialing Program
CPSC and CSTO are credentialing programs issued by WSV. Enrollment grants you access to curriculum, assignments, quizzes, a capstone submission workflow, and — upon satisfactory completion and reviewer approval — a verifiable digital credential. Credentials are discretionary: we may withhold, revoke, or refuse to issue a credential where a candidate fails to meet the published Standard, violates our Code of Conduct, or provides materially inaccurate information.
Course materials, rubrics, and the Standard itself may be updated from time to time. For candidates already enrolled in a cohort, we will apply the version of the curriculum and rubric in force at the start of that cohort unless a change is required for compliance or safety reasons.
5. Payments, Pricing, and Taxes
Tuition, application fees, and renewal fees are displayed on the Pricing page in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe); your card data is never transmitted through our servers. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout. Fees are non-transferable between candidates.
Refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliation with any organization;
- share, resell, or publish course materials, quizzes, rubrics, or capstone scenarios outside the Service;
- submit work that is not your own, use automated systems to generate assignment answers on your behalf, or otherwise circumvent the integrity of the assessment process;
- interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users; or
- use the Service to harass, harm, or endanger any person, particularly a minor.
7. Academic and Credential Integrity
Plagiarism, fabrication of coaching hours, impersonation during assessments, or any misrepresentation in your application or capstone will result in invalidation of your submission, revocation of any issued credential, and forfeiture of fees paid. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to relevant clubs, leagues, or licensing bodies.
8. Intellectual Property
All curriculum, rubrics, methodology documents, templates, logos, and branding on the Service are owned by WSV or our licensors and are protected by U.S. and international law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials solely for your own professional development while your enrollment is active. CPSC™ and CSTO™ are credentialing marks of WSV.
You retain ownership of work you submit (assignments, case responses, capstone submissions). By submitting, you grant WSV a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, grade, and internally display that work for the purpose of operating the program and improving the Standard. We will not publish your submissions externally without your written permission.
9. Verification and Public Credential Data
Credential verification is a public good: when we issue you a credential, a minimal public record (your name, credential type, issue date, and status) is published at /verify so clubs and parents can confirm authenticity. By enrolling you acknowledge this public listing. Candidates may request removal at any time; removal will cause the credential to appear as “revoked” in verification results.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you materially breach these Terms, violate the Code of Conduct, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections 5 (fees already incurred), 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14 survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
The Service and any credentials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WSV disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any credential will result in employment, income, or a particular outcome for your business.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WSV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to WSV in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WSV and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your professional conduct as a coach, trainer, or operator, including any interactions with athletes or their families.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights available to consumers in their jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will bump the version number at the top of this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will additionally notify active candidates by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
