The Buyer Information Standard
A Soccer Parent Standard family does not buy the story without inspecting the product.
They understand the structure:
Parent = buyer.Player = user.Seller = club, coach, camp, showcase, academy, advisor, or pathway program.
They know that the seller usually has more information.
So they ask.
They ask before paying. They ask before moving clubs. They ask before adding training. They ask before attending a camp. They ask before accepting a roster spot. They ask before believing a pathway claim. They ask before sending a child overseas. They ask before assuming exposure has value.
They are not rude. They are not cynical.
They are not anti-club.
They are not anti-coach.
They are serious.
The family’s standard is simple:
Clarify the product.
Verify the claims.
Inspect the environment.
Understand the incentives.
Calculate the cost.
Define the player fit.
Identify the risks.
Decide with evidence.
That is how parents protect the player and the budget.
