Module 1 Parent Assignment Before moving to Module 2, complete these three tasks: 1. Ask Your Player Ask your child:

“What do you want from soccer this year?”

Do not correct the answer. Do not improve the answer. Do not tell them what they should want.

Write down what they actually say.

2. Identify Your Top Three Soccer Expenses List the three biggest soccer expenses your family currently pays for.

For each one, answer:

“What problem does this solve?”

If you cannot answer clearly, mark it for review.

3. Create Your Parent Boundary Finish this sentence:

“During games, I will no longer…”

Examples:

“During games, I will no longer coach from the sideline.”

“During games, I will no longer yell at referees.”

“During games, I will no longer criticize decision-making out loud.”

“During games, I will no longer make my child responsible for my emotions.”

Write the boundary. Follow it.
