Self-Audit Checklist
This tool is a quick scoring sheet that forces you to evaluate your current service against the certification standard. It helps you identify where you are structured, where you are inconsistent, and where your service still depends on habit instead of process.
You use it before writing your service statement and again later as the program becomes more operational.
Inside the full credential, this becomes a fillable .docx + .pdf workbook. Enrolled candidates work through the checklist and submit it as part of the Unit 01 deliverable package.
The checklist asks you to score yourself against:
- Whether each session has a defined developmental priority.
- Whether your service has written policies a parent can read.
- Whether you keep notes and progress records the player can return to.
- Whether your communication cadence with families is consistent.
- Whether your service offer is described in buyer language a parent can repeat.
- Whether your scheduling, packaging, and intake reflect a system rather than ad-hoc judgment calls.
